Work Readiness Programs

 

These program focuses on developing a pool of aged care services ‘work ready’

people with the soft skills and aptitude required to take on entry level roles in the

sector. Generally, the program is completed part-time over a 9-week period and

includes the Career Awareness Program and work experience.

The program aims to:

•Support jobseekers into long term sustainable employment

•Develop a pool of ‘work ready’ people with the skills and aptitude required to take on roles in the sector

•Recruit ‘right fit’ people into ‘right fit’ jobs

•Deliver non-accredited training specifically contextualised to the job roles available

•Provide structured support to both jobseekers and employers

•Provide work experience for the jobseeker in the setting where there are employment opportunities
