Leading Person Centred Teams

Mile End, SA
In person
09:30 - 04:30

Event registration is full.

The fundamentals of person-centred planning is that we involve people in all decisions about their life and build on existing skills and interests, identify what they need and provide it.  Developing person-centred teams extends those principles to your staff.  So how do we do this?

The role of the team leader is critical to the success of such teams so time will also be spent looking at leadership and what is the right style to facilitate this development, in particular matching leadership styles with the current skills, knowledge and motivation of your staff.

This workshop will explore the concept of “person-centred” teams; what they are, what they look like and how to create and develop such teams.

      Presenter:  Sheree Lewis

Sheree Lewis has been a friend of the Better Practice Project for over 10 years.  She has 25 years of consulting, training and facilitation experience which includes working with people from all levels and a wide range of industry sectors.   Sheree has extensive experience in the design, development and facilitation of a range of management and professional development programs.

Sheree is passionate about “people getting the best out of their people”.  A strong focus for Sheree is developing leadership capability in individuals, but also enhancing one’s “training” skills and repertoire so knowledge and skills can more effectively be passed on.  If we can improve our leadership competence and more effectively train and develop our people, we are going a long way to people achieving their potential!
