Sponsorship Coordinator - 12 month contract role

About you: You are passionate about building and cultivating relationships with businesses to sponsor events and connect them with our members, and you're excited about contributing to the success and future of the aged care industry. 

About the role: Located in our Melbourne CBD office, you will be integral to our National Membership & Corporate Partnerships team. You will report directly to the Membership & Corporate Partnerships Manager who will support you as you make the role your own and develop working relationships with internal stakeholders and business partners nationally.

Your day to day will include:

  • Implement the national events and education sponsorship program to increase ACSAs revenue base and ensure the packages create value add opportunities for all stakeholders
  • Build and manage relationships with businesses in line with the ACSA Membership and Corporate Partnerships Service Delivery Plan
  • Engage with the Membership and Corporate Partnerships and Member Services teams to continuously improve the service offer.
  • Present, promote and sell products/services linked to the events and education program
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships internally and externally
  • Proactively canvass and prospect new businesses to take up sponsorship opportunities
  • Achieve agreed sales targets and outcomes
  • Provide reports on sponsor needs, problems, interests, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keep up to date with best practices and promotional trend
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the image of ACSA through business relationships
  • Meet the KPIs of the Membership and Corporate Partnerships budget

You'll come equipped with:

  • Demonstrated experience in, and ability to:
    • Effectively negotiate sponsorship packages and arrangements;
    • Proactively manage key sponsor relationships;
    • Identify and attract new market segments for aged care sponsorships;
    • Present, promote and sell products/services;
    • Work well in a complex national environment; and
    • Maintain positive business relationships to ensure future sales
